This morning, we had our secretary and councillor of the environment speeches! We then had time to type up more of our dragon stories! In the afternoon, we continued to work on our circuit diagram and switch electricity activities, and ended the day by solving some problems using variables and expressions! I have posted pictures of the textbook pages we were working on in class, as well as the ones from yesterday here!
Please remember to come to the Waterton parent information meeting at 6:00-6:30 tonight!
Waterton Parent Night:
Tonight is our Waterton Parent Info night-- it is mandatory that at least one parent comes to the meeting! We will be handing out the field trip forms that night, so please be sure to come!
Volunteer Needed!
Tomorrow, the grade 6's are writing their first PAT! As such, the grade 5's (who are right next door) have been asked to go on a morning hike to Fish Creek park, so that they can use all the classrooms for writing. We need at least one volunteer who would be able to come with us that morning (weather permitting). If you are able, please email me or Leanne Black (our classroom coordinator). Thank you!
