Hope you all enjoyed a very happy Thanksgiving weekend! This morning we had our second session of "Who Do You Tell," and learned about emotion/feeling words. The students brought their overview and feelings match-up home in their backpacks. We had another message from our friendly neighborhood mice, who were wondering what thanksgiving was! We wrote them responses to describe what Thanksgiving was all about. We learned a new sound chunk today -- ee and ea, which make a "squealy e" sound. This will be part of this week's literacy centers, which we reviewed today. We played a fun game, "Squirrels and Nuts" in gym. In the afternoon we had Music, and the class was so good, everyone got a "happy note"! We then played "Guess What?" in math, and ended the day by finishing our Thankful Trees!
*Please remember -- tomorrow is school photo day! If you have not already, please bring the small form that went home last week to pick your child's background and pose.*
