Jacques Cartier sure made an impression this morning, when we learned about how he came to Canada back in 1534, claimed the land around Quebec and Montreal for France, and then abducted the indigenous chief Donnaconna and brought him back to Europe! We then went over our word of the week-- insulators-- and watched a "Million Dollar Year" presentation! We finished the day outside (as it is so lovely) for gym!
