Highlights of the Day:
We began our day right of the bat with our last round (for this week) of Literacy Centres! We then enjoyed another fantastic Francais lesson with Mme. Pallesen! After snack, we practiced subitizing groups of five by looking for smaller (and much easier to recognize) groups of two and three! We then had a small popcorn party, as we got a perfect golden broom score (3 out of 3) for keeping our coat-hooks clean everyday this week! We ended our week with a groovy grade one and four dance party!
Have a great weekend and I'll see you on Monday!

Daily Challenge:
Today, we practiced recognizing groups of five by breaking them down into groups of two and three. Collect a group of small objects you have around your house (paperclips, pencils, grains of rice, etc.). How quickly can you separate them into groups of five, without counting each object? (Hint: look for groups of two and three!)
