WE DAY:
Our class is preparing for WE DAY. Sixteen of our Grade 6 students will be chosen to attend We Day. Part of this process is writing a persuasive letter to their teacher discussing reasons they feel they are good candidates to attend We Day. Grade 5 students are also reflecting on this and writing letters why they believe they will be good candidates next year! This is definitely a difficult process and we would love to be able to take all of the Grade 6 students to We Day. So far, we have worked on organizing our thoughts using a persuasive template. Monday we will begin to write our letters!
Mail:
- Halloween dance forms (oldest and only)
Upcoming Dates:
Homework:
Please have your campaign speech (written and rehearsed) and poster finished for Monday-- we will have no more class time to work on them!
Daily Challenge:
We day is an amazing event for youth who wish to be positive role models and leaders in their schools and communities. In what ways could you show your leadership in our school community?
