Thank you to those of you who came out to the PoWer Hour showcase last night-- it was so cool to be able to see all the different things we have been exploring!
Highlights of the Day:
Today, we began with a bang by spending an hour exploring our new Idea Lab! It was fantastic-- I loved all the cooperation and hands-on learning that took place there! We then had some catch-up time, so we could finish some of our on-going projects before winter break! During snack time, we shared all the wonderful snacks and treats that parents and families brought in for us (thank you-- they were delicious!). In Francais, students had fun playing with an interactive French advent calendar on the Smartboard! We then had a small farewell celebration (and presented the special good-bye cards we made this week) for two of our classmates who will be going to new schools starting in January-- we wish them all the best as they continue their learning journeys! We ended our day with Mrs. Morin's class, enjoying a musical sing-along with her special guest Paulo!
I wish everyone a happy and safe holiday. We will see each other in the New Year on January 4, 2016!
Mail Pockets:
- Our secret art project-- holiday cards for the family!
