This morning, we discussed the quote "those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it", and debated on whether or not we agreed with the message of the quote. We also learned a new "Word on Words" activity called "Enhancing Sentences" and talked about enhancing a boring sentence like "the boy walked his dog" into something more interesting by adding descriptions and details! This afternoon, we conducted a "hidden colours" experiment, and discovered that black Crayola markers are actually not black at all-- but rather a mixture of colours! We finished the day with music!
