This morning, we read the book "The Day the Crayons Quit" which led us into a conversation of how to be persuasive. We learned a new writing strategy to help us when writing persuasive paragraphs: "OREO" (Opinion, Reasons, Examples, Opinion"). We then wrote our own persuasive paragraphs around the prompts: "Pen or pencil?" or "cat or dog?". In the afternoon, we conducted another experiment, this time around how to separate different solids using sieves! We finished the day with music!
