This morning, we continued polishing our final draft of our persuasive paragraphs! We also enjoyed playing "clear the bench" dodgeball in gym, followed by music! In the afternoon, we tackled a math word problem where we were required to make a chart to find the solution, and we ended the day by playing "count to dix" in french!
Tonight is our "Making Memories" event-- I'll look forward to seeing you there!
Butterscotch:
After our trial week, we decided to keep the guinea pig Butterscotch! She will be returning to our classroom next week. As winter holidays are coming up, she will need someone to take her home over the winter break. If you are able and interested in having Butterscotch for 1-2 weeks, please email me!
Spirit Week ~ Join us for some festive fun
The grade six mock government group, the Gray Wolves, have inspired a Spirit Week for the grade six classes. They have invited all classes to participate. All staff, students and volunteers and welcome to join in the fun! Each day is an optional event.
Monday, December 18: Pajama Day - wear your cozy jammies
Tuesday, December 19: Festive Clothes or (Ugly) Christmas Sweater
Wednesday, December 20: Crazy Hat Day - wear a hat, cap, toque, reindeer antlers, etc
Thursday, December 21: Fun Free Choice - wear your Pajamas again or RED & GREEN, or a sports jersey!
