Highlights of the Day:
We began our morning by continuing to work on our story maps! After recess, we continued our Cuisenaire nutrition challenge, and trying to find a way we could prove we have found all the different ways we could pay for our food! After phys ed. and lunch, we enjoyed Music with Mrs. Dennill! We then learned more about Urban and Rural communities, and some of the differences between them! We finished the day by planning our Leprechaun traps, and sorting ourselves into groups to work together on different parts of our supertrap!
Please and Thank You / Volunteer Opportunities:
- We are looking for volunteers for the upcoming field trip to the Arts Commons (the week after Spring Break). We are still in need of volunteers for the following days:
- March 29: 3-4 more volunteers needed
- March 30: 2-3 more volunteers needed
- April 1: 4 more volunteers needed
If we cannot get enough volunteers for this field trip, we will not be able to go! If you are able to come, please contact either Jodi ([email protected]) or myself ([email protected])!
- We would love to have morning reading volunteers to share books with students one-on-one, from 8:30-9:00 any day that it works for you!
- No Literacy Centres this week, as it is a short week.
