Today, we started out by writing stories in our journals-- we could write about whatever we wanted, but to help us think of ideas, we also had the writing prompt: "the day the tiger came to school...". After recess, we had Literacy Centres, followed by some badminton rely races in phys ed! After lunch, we had a magnificent music class, and then learned about a new type of pattern in math-- growth patterns! We looked at increasing patterns (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...) and decreasing patterns (10, 9, 8, 7, 6...). We then tried to organize and find growth patterns in the Cuisenaire rods!
