Writing Sample:
Yesterday, the students had to choose one piece of writing they felt demonstrated their "strongest" writing, to take home a share with their family. Please have a discussion with your child around their writing sample and what makes it strong, and what they can do to make it even better! Please sign and return for Monday (if did not complete yesterday)!
Grade 5 Science Test:
Students who are interested in re-taking their science weather test are welcome to approach Miss Gilbank and set up a time (outside of regular class time-- during recess or lunch) to re-write the test. It is not an open book test, so those interested are encouraged to take their science dustings home and study their notes before taking the re-write!
Construction Donations:
Canstruction Club is looking for non-perishable donations to build our structure next Thursday. It is called the 'Green Cantern’ based on the superhero the Green Lantern. We’re collecting green items such as cans and boxes for this! Please drop off any items to the Idea Lab.
Thanks for your support with this. All items will be donated to the Calgary Food Bank after we build our structure. Wish us luck with our contest!
