Highlights of the Day:
Our day began with some catch-up/ clean-up time, where we got our work and desks ready for interviews tonight! We then had Library (which is always a blast!). After recess, we had the last round of Literacy Centres for this week, followed by some more Badminton activities in phys. ed. After lunch, we had Francais (where we got to go on the computers!) followed by a classroom wide clean-up, where everyone pitched in to help make our classroom nice and tidy for interviews! We then had a fun math activity where we took 20 snap cubes (alternating colours every five cubes) and located different numbers along our "snap cube number line" using different strategies (counting by 5's, counting on, subtracting, etc.). We finished our day in a fun building challenge with our grade four buddies, where we were asked to create the tallest free-standing tower we could using only paper and masking tape!
I look forward to meeting with you tonight and tomorrow for Parent-Teacher interviews!
