Today, we began with a collaborative art experiment! We each made three marks (lines, squiggles, shapes, etc.) on someone else's page with sharpie. We then had to take the three marks someone else made on our page, and turn it into a picture! I was impressed at the creatively and open-mindedness our class showed! We then discussed how we have to accept ideas from other people when we are working together in a group (no matter how squiggly), and the beauty of team work is adding your own ideas to create a whole new picture! After library and recess, we had Literacy Centres, followed by phys ed. After lunch, we enjoyed Francais with Mme. Pallesen, and solved some math problems out of a story we read! We finished the day with our grade four buddies, where we got the chance to re-design our paper towers to improve them from the last time!
