We started our morning by reading the next chapter in our Magic Tree House book! We then wrote in our journals about where (or when) we would travel if we could travel through time! After library, we had another drumming session! We enjoyed our last round of literacy centres for this week, and had lots of fun practicing our "shooting" and "passing" techniques for ringette in phys. ed.! After lunch, we had Francais (check out Mme. Pallesen's blog for more details!). In social studies we learned about rights and responsibilities. We watched a couple short video clips and discussed what these important words mean to us. The students showed and wrote about their responsibilities at home, at school, and to the world in their visual journals.
Remember, no school tomorrow! Enjoy your weekend!

Daily Challenge:
Did you know tomorrow is UNICEF's National Child Day, recognizing the universal rights of children? We have talked about responsibilities we have at home, school, and to the world. Rights are freedoms that we have, like the right to be safe at school. What rights do you think all children should have?
