Highlights of the Day:
We began our day right off the bat with Literacy Centres! We then had some time to exchange our books at Library (please remember to return all books before next Thursday!) After recess, we had a large Minecraft superstorm with all the grade one classes, where we learned how to move around and build in our Minecraft community! In phys ed. we learned about some more Netball rules! After lunch, we had Francais, then enjoyed touring around the grade five Electricity Science Fair! We spent some time discussing as a class how our community should be arranged (in terms of what buildings should go where), and ended the day in another fun scavenger hunt around the school with our buddies!
Please remember to bring back library books for next Thursday!
Please and Thank You / Volunteer Opportunities:
- We would love to have morning reading volunteers to share books with students one-on-one, from 8:30-9:00 any day that it works for you!
- We would very much appreciate volunteers during literacy centers: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10:45 - 11:30, and Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 - 9:30. Thanks for considering!
Library:
Our Library day is on Thursday, and many of our students have books out that are long overdue! Please remember to bring back any books that have been taken out of the Library for next Thursday (remember, you can renew books you really want to keep reading!). Thank you!
Mail Pockets:
- No new mail today.
- Home Reading bags went home if returned.
