Highlights:
Phew! It feels good to be back! This morning, we looked over our persuasive paragraph marks and discussed what we could do to improve them-- we then had time to edit and and re-write our paragraphs. In the afternoon, we observed our science rock crystals and wrote down the changes we saw from the first day. In math, we played "Beat My Number: Decimals Edition" and discussed how placing the decimal in different locations in our number changed its place value.
Please remember to come to tomorrow night's "Making Memories" event at the school if you are able!
Butterscotch:
After our trial week, we decided to keep the guinea pig Butterscotch! She will be returning to our classroom next week. As winter holidays are coming up, she will need someone to take her home over the winter break. If you are able and interested in having Butterscotch for 1-2 weeks, please email me!
